How do you thank someone for revolutionizing music, fashion, film, performance art and all the while blurring the lines of gender roles and our concept of sexuality. Letting kids know it’s ok to pick up a guitar and write a song, or giving a guy the confidence to wear his sisters dress. Boys could be girls and girls could be boys. It’s the purest form of what Rock n’ Roll is. He is the personification of evolution, constantly changing and not afraid to go left when everyone else is going right. Using a medium of expression to tell the world what you think and how you feel. Call it Rock n roll, call it punk rock or DIY… it’s personality. Inner refinement reflected out. Put yourself into your work. It will translate. Thank you, David Bowie for blowing our minds over and over.
